no lips to kiss - a zombification

This is a zombification for a promotion run by the dudes over at Grim Crew for the Dead Future comic series. I took part in that series and have a 10 page story in the 4th edition. You can download it cheap here. The above image was drawn in Paint Tool SAI and mostly colored with it too. Final touches in photoshop.

had a teaparty

Been a busy week with family and also working on the above graphic which is for a site that is being created by the woman who runs the Day of the Woman blog. Thankfully she likes it, it took longer than it should have but its done. 2 more to go and I can start taking more work.

In other news - I'm probably going to stop updating this site soon because I want to concentrate my efforts on my other site, idrawzombies.com. Time will tell.

wolfman me

It's winter so I haven't shaved in a while, and my hair is dry and a bit curly, or poofy, as my wife likes to say. Either way I'm a little bit of lumberjack, or a whole lotta wolfman. Add a touch of photomanip and here I am.

Now ... who wants a kiss?

leaving sesame

The real Zombie Apocalypse began when Oscar ate some unknown rotten, smelly piece of meat he found in the trash. He felt ill for about a day, which is a huge deal for Oscar. He thought it was the greatest feeling in the world, being sick. Then he started to change. He became more angrier, and hungrier. Elmo was his first victim. Oscar tore through that little red turd like a grizzly through a fawn, ripping him limb from limb. Gordan was next but managed to get away, only to turn later and take down Big Bird before getting stomped to death by Mr. Snuffaluffagus.

It was the beginning of the end for Sesame Street. Bert and Ernie are seen here trying to make a break for it ... but it is already too late.

wolfman quicksketch

Quick doodle with a ball point pen last night before bed. Around 2am. Then colored in PS as a warm up exercise. Not the greatest work of my life, but I haven't updated much so here it is. I have a few more things I want to get up today as well. If all goes well.

Also, check out the ANA COMICS forum for some fun sketch challenges and some great people to get advice and/or learn from. It's small but growing.

pain in the neck

Feb. 1 and I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row. Just about finished up all my commissions so it's almost time to get some new ones. Also ... I nearly have the webcomic ready for re release. Exciting times. Speaking of zombie webcomics, check out All Manner of Bad. It's really good.
