Because what does a zombie need with money anyways? In reality he's giving his money away to charity. You can check out his website here, and if you're on google+ you should also circle him ... make him spend his money.

This is a zombified image I drew of his iconic avatar for part of my 1000 zombies horde. If I was more clever I would make a comic strip about him and his adventures in the zombie apocalypse ... it would probably have a horde of streaking zombies taking candy corn poops while mugging complete strangers.
